In domestic cricket, he represents Haryana, while in the Indian Premier League, he plays for Rajasthan Royals. Chahal employs a right-arm leg break technique in his bowling. Notably, he became the first Indian cricketer and the second player ever to take six wickets in a T20I match. Moreover, he also made history by being the first concussion substitute to be declared the man of the match in an international cricket match.
