The doughty Punjabi is a street-smart footballer who rose through the ranks of Sporting Clube de Goa. From 2009 onwards, Khabra wore the red-and-gold shirt of East Bengal till 2016 and also captained the side in the 2014-15 season. He won the Hero ISL in 2015 with Chennaiyin FC, a side that he represented for three seasons (2014-2016). Thereafter, he was signed by Bengaluru FC before Hero I-League 2017 and helped them win the Hero Federation Cup. He was re-signed in the draft leading up to Hero ISL 2017-18 by Bengaluru and played 13 matches in the season. This will be his third season with the Blues.
