Jayananda Singh has come through the youth ranks having played in the U-14 and U-16 Indian sides and captaining them during his term. He was part of the India squad which won the U-16 SAFF Championships and had stints with DSK Shivajians and the AIFF Academy before stepping into the Hero ISL. Part of the Indian squad which participated in the 2017 U-18 SAFF Championship, the versatile midfielder can occupy both central defensive and the full-back role. Having played just one match in the previous season, he will be hoping for more game time this season.
