About
Born in Madrid, Marcos Tebar is a graduate from the Real Madrid academy in the Spanish capital. A technically sound defensive midfielder, Tebar has spent the majority of his career in Spain with clubs like Rayo Vallecano, Girona and Almeria. The 2014/15 season saw him move to Brentford for a fresh challenge on the shores of England. He has been capped by Spain at the under-16 or under-17 levels and was most recently seen on the pitch for Spanish outfit UE Llagostera. Hero ISL 2016 was his first taste of football in Asia, and he notched up three assists there for Delhi Dynamos. He will look to do much the same with FC Pune City in the upcoming one. Following stints with UD Almeria and Brentford FC, he played for Delhi Dynamos and provided three assists with a phenomenal passing accuracy of 84.21% in Hero ISL 2016. Hailed for his positional play and the ability to break the counter, Tebar will be back with the Lions for his second stint at the club after a fruitful season with FC Pune City in 2017-18.
