Chennai Super Kings (CSK), a franchise of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are 4-time winners of the cash-rich Indian T20 league. They played the finals of the inaugural edition in 2008 and won their first title in the year 2010, they defended their title in 2011. The franchise was banned by the BCCI for two years in 2016-17 and returned back in 2018 with another title win in their kitty. After not qualifying for the play-offs for first time in 2020, CSK won their 4th title in 2021
